With just a 7-minute drive to the Beaver Valley Ski Club (or a 25-minute drive to Blue Mountain and the Scandinave Spa), you’ll be enjoying the best of what the area has to offer in no time.

This cozy après ski chalet sleeps 12 comfortably and is located in the tiny Hamlet of Eugenia, directly across from the public beach on Lake Eugenia. The one-acre property has an outdoor campfire pit, an adjoining forest (with a zip line for the kids) and plenty of room for pets to wander. The huge private backyard deck has a BBQ and year-round HOT TUB to soak in after a long day on the slopes.

The home has been furnished in a chalet moderne style with cozy accents creating a welcoming ski escape for your family and friends.

You enter the house via a large entryway with a large mudroom to the right, complete with benches and storage for ski equipment. (It also serves as the laundry room with new washer/dryer.)

The Great Room boasts a 30-foot high cathedral ceiling with exposed farmhouse beams, plus an air-tight gas burning fireplace and a brand new 60” television with Cable TV and streaming services. It serves as the main living room with plenty of couches and reading chairs.

The large modern kitchen is the centrepiece of the home, with a large white quartz countertop and breakfast bar that seats 5. You’ll be cooking with gas on the stove and oven, and the wide double-door fridge has a spacious pull-out freezer on the bottom. Don't forget the separate under-the-counter champagne fridge! The separate dining area has two dining tables with enough seating for 12.

The chalet has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, and sleeps at least 12 comfortably (or more if your guests don’t mind comfy couches). Unheated bunkie available in the warmer months (sleeps 2).

The intimate master suite on the second floor has a king-size bed and its own private en suite bathroom with walk-in shower (plus an extra twin bed if needed).

The main floor hosts two large bedrooms, each with its own queen-size bed, plus a granny suite with a twin bed. There is also a trundle daybed that turns into a queen-size mattress for extra guests.

The private basement oasis has a cozy hideaway bedroom with a queen-size bed, along with a separate man cave that includes more comfy couches, a small home office, and cable TV. It also has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The backyard deck is used year-round, with a gasline BBQ and large HOT TUB that is professionally maintained bi-weekly.

The chalet contains a Nest Thermostat, which allows you to control the heat remotely or set a personalized schedule so the place is warm and toasty the moment you step inside. There is also a wood burning fireplace that can be used on those extra chilly nights.

There is also high-speed internet throughout the home.

The chalet is located just down the street from the Flying Chestnut Restaurant and a two-minute drive to the Top of the Rock grocery store and LCBO. The Kimberley General Store, Justin’s Pizza Oven and Hearts Tavern are all just a short 7-minute drive away in Kimberley. You’ll have everything you need close by!

The town of Markdale is a short 15-minute drive away along Hwy 10, with cafés, bakeries, boutique shops, a Foodland grocery store, regional hospital and other amenities.

(No smoking of any kind indoors, but there are three outdoor decks. Pets welcome!)
